Princess line, full length cotton petticoat, c.1905
A full length Edwardian slip is perfect under those beautiful sheer tea dresses you have been collecting. The princess line seams insure a smooth fit from the bust to the hipline. The skirt, which flares below the hipline, will support the skirt fullness of your dress.
The petticoat closes in back with small mother-of-pearl buttons. It originally had a drawstring ribbon threaded through the lace of the neckline to distribute the fullness. This is an easy replacement.
The condition is almost excellent. The slip just shows gentle wear and needs a drawstring ribbon for the neckline.
It measures: 35" bust, 26" waist, 40" hip, and 51" from shoulder to hem.
