Patullo/Jo Copeland beaded cocktail dress, 1950s
What a sexy dress when filled out with human curves! Do not get the wrong impression from the pictures, where the hard surface of the mannequin makes the dress appear a bit droopy.
Made from midnight blue satin crepe and trimmed with loops of changeable blue, purple, and green glass beads, the stylish dress has a seductive and memorable charm.
Jo Copeland consistently turned out chic party dresses in the 1950s. This beauty closes on the side with a metal zipper. I love the draped pockets and center-front skirt slit.
The condition is excellent and wearable.
It measures: 36" bust, 27" waist, 42" hip, 16 1/2" from the shoulder to the waist, and 52" from the shoulder to the hem.
