Silk chiffon party dress, 1950s
I love the unabashed femininity of 1950s party dresses, which discreetly celebrated the female figure. They were ultra sexy while remaining sweet and demure. This one showcases your curves with an elaborately draped bodice.
The dress consists of a coral silk crepe sheath that is covered with softly draped matching chiffon. The asymmetrical design is balanced with fabric flowers at the hem on one side and a dramatic back panel on the other side.
The bodice is boned and lined with matching silk crepe. The dress closes in back with a metal zipper. The color is fabulous.
The condition is very good and wearable. The dress is very slightly soiled. Since it is barely noticeable, I would leave it as is.
It measures: 36" bust, 26" waist, 38" hip, and 35" center-front length.
