Two-piece embroidered linen dress, 1920s fabric
Fashioned from vintage linen napkins, the dress is crisp and fresh and perfect for summer. A clever seamstress who recognized the beauty of the napkins pieced them together to form a charming skirt with camisole top.
The napkins are white handkerchief linen with drawn-thread work borders. Each napkin has a hand-embroidered blue Chinese dragon. The top closes in front with buttons. The skirt closes in back with a zipper.
The condition is excellent and wearable.
The top measures: 38" bust, 36" waist, and 18" from shoulder to hem.
The skirt measures: 31" waist, 38" hip, and 26" length.
