Satin brocade panel with matching trim, 1920s
This beautiful panel of satin brocade fabric was used in home décor, but I'm not sure how. The matching trim on each end was woven to match the fabric. The tapered ends of the trim suggest that they were used as ties.
The substantial quality of the fabric indicates that it was expensive.
The condition is excellent. The almost 2 yard panel is sturdy and clean.
It measures 30" wide by 68" long.
