Oscar de la Renta chiffon skirt, 1980s

What could be more fun for summer than a flirty little skirt? The featherweight design has layers of silk chiffon with delightful bias-cut ruffles. Wear the skirt with high strappy sandals for dancing or with flats and a cropped top for casual.

The fiery cranberry red will raise the temperature in the room as you make your entrance. This sexy number closes on the side-back with a hidden zipper and is lined with matching silk crepe de chine. The delicate, fluttery ruffles are thrillingly feminine.

After studying design in Madrid, de la Renta began his fashion career under the tutelage of Cristobal Balenciaga. De la Renta later moved to Paris, where he worked as couture assistant to Antonio Castillo at Lanvin. The influence of these two great Spanish designers is evident in de la Renta's work.

Loyal fans of de la Renta love his feminine, elegant creations. They can count on a finely finished garment, whether high end couture or from his less expensive line. Our saucy little skirt has the chic charm and sex appeal expected from Sarah Jessica Parker's favorite designer.

The condition is excellent.

It measures: 34" waist, 46" hip, and 26" length.
