French enameled gold bracelet, c.1900
Exquisitely executed design! The lovely enamel portrait is set between two gold rosettes with center diamonds. The bracelet is formed from braided ropes of 14K gold.
The enamel portrait of a lady from antiquity is expertly executed by a master craftsman. Enameled jewelry has proven highly collectible because of the great skill often displayed in these miniatures of art. Signed pieces are particularly desirable.
The back of the enamel is marked "Made in France" in handwriting. One end is marked inside "Soret/14K."
The condition is excellent. The clasp has been replaced. The bracelet measures 9" around and 7/8" wide at the center.
