Scottish heavy cashmere sweater, c.1960
Savvy collectors have discovered that Scottish cashmere from the 1950s-60s has more substantial quality than the flimsy Chinese cashmere found in contemporary sweaters.
This heavy ply navy sweater features full-fashioned, full length sleeves, a wide turtle neck, and turned-under ribbing at the hem and cuffs.
The condition is excellent. The sweater has been gently worn.
It measures: 38" bust, 33" waist, and 20" from the shoulder to the hem.
