#6996 $1,250
Mink fur coat, 1970s
Still soft and supple, the luxurious mink fur coat came from the estate of a wealthy socialite from Providence, Rhode Island. The finely shaped coat does not overwhelm the slender figure.
Made from fully let out brown/black mink pelts, the plush coat is lined with black satin with a wide decorative hem border. The collar can be buttoned up high to keep your neck warm or buttoned lower to form a lapel.
The coat closes in front with elastic loops and decorative mother-of-pearl buttons. In front are vertical set-in pockets that are lined with dark brown velvet.
Savvy collectors have long recognized that high end vintage clothing can be a great buy. Why pay $3000+ for a new mink coat when you can have a vintage original for a fraction of the cost?
The condition is excellent. It is clean and ready to wear.
It measures: 38" bust, 36" waist, 42" hip, 23" sleeve length, and 41" from shoulder to hem.
