#2485x $250
Beaded silk crepe skirt, 1930s-40s
This fabulous, sparkling skirt is the bottom of a dress. If you want to wear it as a skirt, you will need to shape the waist area to fit. (I pinned it on the mannequin in back.) Or you can add a plain black top to turn the skirt into a dress again.
The skirt can also be used in a renovation project as a beaded panel. The project is of medium difficulty. You will end up with a fully beaded skirt worth at retail $800-$900. I enjoy doing restoration on the main category pieces but do not have the time for Treasure Hunt repairs.
The condition is almost excellent. There is only minor bead loss.
It measures: 38" waist, 44" hip, and 36" long.
