Pair of European fine linen shams, c.1900
I love the crisp look of white linen! This lovely set of large square shams, fashioned from fine white linen, is tastefully decorated with pin tucks, embroidered panels, and ruffled borders. The shams close in back with thread-covered buttons—see the bottom picture below.
Decorative yet sturdy! You can enjoy the elegance of fine estate linens without concern about destroying an antique too delicate to use. They can be safely laundered.
The condition is excellent. They are clean and ready to use.
The total size of each sham is 35" square, including the ruffle. The pillow size is 27" square.
