Two+ yards fine cotton French whitework, c.1900
This panel of wreath design whitework matches #9374. The pieces were assembled by a collector who was planning to use them in a wedding dress.
The embroidery and the cloth are both exceptionally fine. This panel features a wide border on plain cloth.
The condition is excellent. The fabric, which has darkened slightly with age, just needs a good soak to make it white again.
It measures 78" long by 25" wide. The wreaths are 3" wide by 3 3/4" tall.
