Beaded wicker bag, 1960s
This delightful, outrageous bag is perfect for anyone who is young at heart. The bag is fashioned from blond wicker coated with plastic. The front has a large three-dimensional flower of clear and silver crystal beads with vivid emerald sequins, set against a ground of white seed beads. The center of the flower has gold sequins and faux pearls.
The plastic carved frame and handle have swirls of iridescent gold and copper. The interior of the bag is lined with metallic gold leather and has one pocket. The bag is labeled "Adele Handbags/Made in Hong Kong" on the pocket. I love the studded leather feet on the bottom.
The condition is excellent.
It measures 9" wide, 7" tall and 5" deep.
