Alligator folding clutch wallet, 1950s
Savvy collectors have discovered that fine vintage, skin accessories in excellent condition offer the look without the high price tag. New alligator wallets in luxury stores generally sell for $1,000-$3000.
The interior is lined with soft, supple brown leather. There are two compartments on each side: one side is zippered while other side has a window for a picture. The center of the wallet has a double coin purse. The wallet closes with a snap.
The condition is excellent.
It measures 3 1/2" by 6 3/4".
