Silk chiffon/lace petticoat, 1920s
I would love to have seen the dress that went with this exquisite petticoat. That dress would have been high end and beautiful.
The upper portion of the petticoat is sheer pink silk chiffon shirred at the waist. The lower part is delicate blond silk lace. The petticoat has three bouquets of silk ribbon flowers; one is at the center-front and the other two are in back. The petticoat closes on the side with two hooks and is longer in back.
The condition is almost excellent. In the silk chiffon are a few small, pale stains and a pin prick hole. These are minor imperfections that do not spoil the appearance.
It measures: 32" waist, full hip, and 28" center-front length.
