The color is gorgeous cherry red! The dress features an imaginative textural mix of beads and sequins, including ropes of red pearls on the skirt. The dress is lined with matching China silk. The dress has shoulder pads and closes in back with an invisible zipper.
In the 1980s, designers discovered that high quality hand beading could be affordably produced in India. Many exquisitely beaded creations were produced by Swee Lo to be sold in upscale stores during this period. This beautiful dress comes from Bonwit Teller's Designer Collections.
