Lace trimmed tulle blouse, c.1905
The blouse is fashioned from white cotton tulle and embellished with white cotton floral lace, hand knotted filet lace, and Irish crochet lace.
The sleeves have additional crochet ball trim. And what pretty detailing! I especially like the open seams on the sleeves. The blouse closes in back with buttons that do not appear to be original.
The condition is almost excellent. There is a small mend near the waist in back.
It measures: 35" bust, 14" from shoulder seam to shoulder seam, 30" waist, 22" sleeve length, 20" center-front length, and 15" center-back length.
