Handmade drawnwork lace bride's bag, mid 19th century
The delicate antique bride's bag would make a lovely wedding accessory; or use whenever you are in the mood to enjoy this treasure of needle art.
Lined with ecru silk, the ivory colored bag is made from handmade drawnwork lace with needle lace accents and closes with a tasseled drawstring. The lining and drawstring buttonholes are hand stitched.
The condition is almost excellent. The lace exterior is perfect; the lining has two small splits.
It measures 7 1/2" wide by 8 1/2" tall.
