Brussels lace hankie, 19th century
Fine antique hankies with abundant handwork make thoughtful, one-of-a-kind gifts. This could be the "something old" on a bride's special day. This lovely hankie features wide borders of fine handmade Brussels lace. The center of the hankie is sheer cotton batiste. The color is pale beige.
The condition is almost excellent. There are no breaks in the lace. The center has brown age spots, which can be soaked out.
The hankie is 14" square.
