Whiting & Davis enamel mesh bag, c.1920
This colorful enamel mesh purse is an excellent buy for someone who is handy with a needle. If you replace the missing silk lining, you will have a bag that would sell for over $400. There is an attached metal tag inside that is stamped with the Whiting and Davis logo.
The exterior of the bag is excellent.
The bag is 7" long including the frame. The frame is 4 1/4" wide; the enamel mesh is 4" wide.
