Lightweight summer petticoat, c.1900
Victorian/Edwardian petticoats make wonderful summer skirts. These petticoats are usually lavishly trimmed with lace and/or embroidery, which is too pretty to hide. Made from lightweight white cotton, this one has a wide flared hem border of alternating Valenciennes lace and dotted Swiss lace and closes at the waist with drawstring ties.
The condition is excellent and wearable.
It measures: adjustable waist, 56" hip, and 35" length.
