#1967 $195
Beaded cotton flapper dress, 1920s
I love the cheerful, unique beading on this dress and wish I had time to do the restoration. If you have the time, you will end up with a fabulous flapper dress that would retail for at least $850.
The dress is fashioned from sheer cotton voile and slips on over the head with no closures. It is embellished with bouquets of red, white, and gold glass bead flowers with early spring green leaves.
The condition is very good. The shoulders are the main problem. They have rust stains and holes—see the bottom picture. There are several additional pin prick holes that could be disguised with more beads.
It measures: 38" bust, 36" waist, 40" hip, and 45" from the shoulder to the hem.
