Hand-embroidered cotton nightgown, mid 20th century
This dewy fresh nightgown is cool and comfortable to wear with its draped, open armholes. The bodice front is decorated with Oriental hand embroidery and rows of hand-stitched chevron pin tucks at the waist.
The nightie is completely hand stitched, emphasizing the winsome charm of the delectable floral motif (4th picture down.) The neckline fullness can be adjusted with the pink silk ribbon drawstring.
The condition is excellent.
It measures: approximately 40" bust, 38" waist, 48" hip, and 53" from shoulder to hem.
