15 handmade glass buttons, early 20th century
These charming handmade glass buttons were imported from Italy in the early 20th century. They were purchased from dead stock in a garment center warehouse. I have one more group of these buttons if you are interested.
They feature a bulls eye pattern of turquoise, gold, navy and ivory. No two buttons have exactly identical centers, even though they are all the same size! This, of course, is why handmade objects are so appealing to the eye. The buttons have metal shanks.
The condition is excellent.
Each button has a diameter of 3/8".
