Lace trimmed blouse, c.1900

I love the lively combination of plaid and lace. The blouse, a fine example of everyday historic clothing, is fashioned from plaid cotton crepe and closes with hooks on one side of the lace panel. The blouse is longer in front.

The condition is very good to excellent. The lace on the cuffs has a few small holes. The blouse shows gentle wear.

It measures: 40" bust, 38" waist, 14 1/2" from shoulder seam to shoulder seam, 22 1/2" sleeve length, 14" collar circumference, and 15 1/2" center-back length.
