Hand-embroidered nightgown yoke, early 20th century
This is one of the prettiest nightgown yokes I have seen. You can use it as intended or for a dress top.
The yoke is fashioned from ivory cotton tulle that has been beautifully hand embroidered with padded satin stitch, French knots, and openwork fill. The borders and straps are trimmed with novelty braid.
The condition is excellent. It's clean and ready to use.
It measures 42" around and 4 3/4" tall. The strap length can be adjusted.
