Corsage bias-cut rayon crepe slip, 1950s
The term bias cut has become synonymous with the Hollywood look of the 1930s. A diagonal or bias-cut garment molds to the figure like spandex.
The slip, fashioned from rayon crepe, is a wonderful warm shade of peachy cafe au lait. The bodice and hem are trimmed with matching lace. The shoulder strap length is adjustable.
The condition is excellent. There are a few tiny age spots, which will probably come out with the first wash.
The size is marked 12/32.
It measures:
34" bust, 30" high waist, 38" hip, and 47" from the shoulder to the hem.
