French metallic embroidered tulle shawl, 1920s
The shawl is fashioned from very fine black tulle. It appears gray in the pictures because it was photographed over a light background. The ends are embroidered with silver and gold metallic leaves. The metallic threads continue up the sides to form a border.
The label reads "Made in France."
The condition is very good. There are several tiny holes and one 1/4"hole . Although the holes are barely noticeable when the shawl is draped, they are reflected in the price..
It measures 93" long by 31 1/2" wide.
