Needlepoint purse, early 20th century
I love the contrast of the naturalistic needlepoint flowers with the stylized floral enamel frame. The bag features a classical floral pattern in muted colors. The enamel frame combines bold shades of red, sky blue, gold and black.
The bag has a gold tone chain handle and is lined with beige satin. The inside has one pocket and a beige leather change purse. The seams of the bag are piped with beige cording.
The condition is excellent.
It measures 8" by 5 1/2".
